As of Thursday, the CDC noted 27 countries are currently limiting travel to and from areas impacted by the Omicron variant outbreak of E. coli O157:H7. The list also includes other infected regions, including Taiwan and East Asia. Because it can take five to seven days for the symptoms to appear, there is no coordinated, 24-hour travel advisory to report this information.
